Rip Van Winkle

two months...did Rip sleep that long?

wake up BEAR...time to tell everybody what we've been doing!

not much...
well, we've been
resting and renewing.

cleaning out the cob webs that inhibit us.

reading...creating...doing

laughing...crying

healing.

reading happy mail from blogger friends who
didn't forget us...thank you so much!

some of your blogs sparked a question in my mind...
i felt a sincere happiness coming thru the screen...
your love of family & home
<><><><><><><>
and the one thing you have in common
on your sidebar is this picture

and i was curious!

so i spoke to the one person in my office who could tell me

and who invited me to go along one Sunday...

and i've been going back since...

last saturday we visited the Washtington DC Temple

i couldn't go inside, but i placed my hand on the cool

Alabama white marble...

and i went inside the visitor's center and saw this

and was moved to tears...

  2. You know you have been on my mind alot and that I have missed you a great deal.

With your painful church background, I am thrilled to pieces that you have found a place of worship where you feel comfortable and "safe" enough to keep on returning. May it continue to be a place of refuge for you.

    Love,
    Patti

  5. Oh, Victoria!!! Can't tell you how happy that makes me! I have a different picture on my sidebar (the temple), but that same faith...and happiness. So thrilled you were curious...let me know if you have any questions or anything...there really is peace to be felt at the temple, even if you don't go inside the walls. So glad you went!

I've missed your posts, too! I've not been the best blogger lately--so much going on with my family at home--all good things, just busy!

Wishing you the most wonderful day, my friend!
